About Me

Brent Giesbrecht
I’ve spent over 15 years working in IT leadership, managing everything from small teams to large, complex environments. What I’ve learned along the way is simple: technology only helps when the basics are done right, and when people feel supported in using it.

I’m just as comfortable setting up a computer or configuring a network as I am sitting down with nonprofit staff to talk through their challenges in plain language. My focus is on making IT manageable — building trust, keeping systems secure, and giving teams the confidence to handle problems without feeling overwhelmed.

I started Waypoint IT because I wanted to take what I’ve learned in my career and make it accessible to nonprofits. My role isn’t to sell hardware or lock anyone into services they don’t need. It’s to help organizations get the fundamentals in place: reliable devices, secure networks, clear policies, and affordable cloud tools that scale with their mission.

If you’re looking for someone who will keep things simple, help you do the basics right, and be there when important IT decisions come up, that’s exactly what I do.
