Brent Giesbrecht is the founder and principal consultant of Waypoint IT Consulting. His background spans ISP operations, small-business IT consulting, municipal IT, MSP support, and national enterprise IT leadership — giving him a rare, end-to-end understanding of how organizations actually use technology, from the field to the boardroom.

Brent grew up in the Peace Country and has deep roots in Grande Prairie, paired with several years leading national IT infrastructure and support functions for large enterprises while based in Montreal. Fifteen-plus years across small businesses and oilfield companies, municipal government, MSP delivery, and national enterprise IT — managing complex environments, multi-million-dollar budgets, and the teams behind them, at every scale from a five-person shop to a national organization.
